Hey everyone, Gus from Mr Powerwash here with another job well done!
A main concern that people have is, that the hard jet of water coming from the pressure washer nozzle is too strong and will loosen or damage the shingles and thus leave the roof porous and vulnerable to rain. Though I never came across this problem during my professional career, it seems to be a valid concern and could actually happen, if someone untrained and inexperienced attempted to pressure wash a roof on their own. It takes quite a bit of experience to do it properly!
We at Mr Powerwash do our absolute best to make sure your property is left cleaner than before, undamaged, and plants healthy and watered.
This job was for 3 Spanish tile roofs full of pollen and dirt. We also cleaned and drained the gutters. Our client was a property manager in PGA National and her request was for us to do the job with no chemicals whatsoever.
We used an industrial surface cleaner on the tiles to detail and edge all of them, with tolerable pressure. These tiles are not meant to be hit with more than 3000 psi so we stayed under that limit.
The job took quite a while but all three tenants and our main client were very happy with the results! We also threw in a free patio cleaning because they were very kind and appreciative.
The neighbors across the street admired our work as well. They had their roof soft washed with chemical but insisted that our work was more detailed!
